Duroxite® 100 material is produced by welding abrasive-resistant materials with a high chromium content to low-carbon steel sheet using a traditional electric arc. Carbide plates are suitable for applications displayed to intensive abrasive wear in combination with moderate impacts. The multi-layer weld layers also retain full wear resistance up to 350°C and a typical surface hardness of 55 HRC even at higher temperatures up to 540°C. The material Duroxite® 100 is available in one or more weld layers up to a weld thickness of 20 mm.

Typical applications

Duroxite® 100 material is widely used in the mining industry, energy, cement industry, steel production, waste processing, glass and paper industry.

Duroxite 100 is available as standard in the following variants:

  • sheet thickness 6 mm + weld thickness 4 mm; dimension 1400 x 3000 mm
  • sheet thickness 10 mm + weld thickness 10 mm; dimension 1400 x 3000 mm
